“grandfather´s hand”, Existence series
Gelatin silver print, 18×22”
Limited edition of 10
“ I love old things. Because I senes stories dignity from the things that have been through long time within the same way I do from our lovable elderly people.
Rusted wrench reminds me of the hard-working grandfather´s rugged hands, and countless scratches on a spoon are just as the sweet wrinkles on the corner of grandmother’s eyes.
Besides such noticeable elegance, what I want to capture is their “aura” which can only be won by the long span of the time and experiences from there.
These works are the series of portraits that captures the “existence” of respectable old things.”
