Studio S II - pieza de arte
                                                  EEUU, furniture

Studio S II was co-founded by longtime best friends and collaborators, Erica Sellers and Jeremy Silberberg. The two met at a party while pursuing their undergraduate degrees at RISD. Knowing a rare connection when he feels one, Jeremy asked Erica to lunch the very next day. Despite having already eaten, she obliged. It wasn’t until years later when Jeremy discovered that Erica ate two lunches that day; she knew a rare connection when she felt one, too.

In the summer of 2020, Erica and Jeremy were exploring what would soon become the site of their first gut-renovation. Knowing they shared the same vision, they left their jobs to start Studio S II.

Erica holds a BFA in Industrial Design from RISD and has a decade of experience in fine art. Her expertise includes 3D modeling, tech packs and fabrication development, and prototype creation. Jeremy holds a BFA in Film from RISD and an MFA in Interior Design from Pratt. His expertise includes floor plan and program development, spatial visualization, and creating uncommon and custom objects and furniture.

In the year the studio was established, Erica went on to be a contestant on Ellen’s Next Great Designer where she competed among seven of the best furniture designers countrywide, which helped also get S II’s newly created studio and space seen on a global scale. Jeremy and Erica have done various custom furniture works for high-profile clients, along with their own collection of works that are sold nationwide. S II will come out with a large interior design gut-reno project by early 2023

“Our goal is to continue to create our own in-house collections, collaborate with galleries we respect, and create interior and unique spaces that allow us to cultivate our subversive designs and artistic vision to live beyond the binary.”
