Born in 1994, Son Taeseon is a Seoul-based sculptor and furniture designer. He is currently studying a postgraduate degree at the Department of Wood Furniture Design at Hongik University, Seoul. Also this is his third year of his writing career.

The artist is inspired by visual images that come from nature, building an identity by expressing what the artist sees and feels directly through his own sense of design, the sense of form and the creative process used. His practice is based on the traditional carpentry and pursues specialization in wood carving, creating pieces of great visual and aesthetic harmony, which have art and functionality in equal parts.
