Emily Orta

Emily Orta is an emerging Franco-British-Argentinian designer with a deep passion for artisan craftsmanship. Emily turned her creative skills to hand-crafting her own products.

Emily has developed a unique personal language with an emphasis on the process of making. Her desire is to test the technical boundaries of these disciplines through image sculpting, and materiality. Emily has invented her own glazes and combines these with multiple firings to achieve a unique range of textures and colors. Through her work, Emily explores her human relationship to nature and the underwater world.

Her most recent exhibitions include Collectible Art Fair, Brussels 2022 or ‘In Praise of Panspermia’ by Movement of Wai, Paris 2022.

Emily lives and work in Paris, France.
