11th BERLIN BIENNALE “THE CRACK BEGINS WITHIN”

A project led by women, which proposes us OTHER FUTURES..

It started with 3 sequential moments developed between September 2019 and July 2020, trying to build SUSTAINABLE RELATIONSHIPS, between the artists, the participants and the people of Berlin.

The current pandemic has exposed the cracks in the current system. Can we reverse it?

More than 75 artists who propose a new canon.

Once again art opens us to new ways. A necessary appointment.

CONSTELACIONES, a great anthological exhibition of Remedios Varo in the MALBA. 

Remedios Varo (Anglés, Girona 1908- Ciudad de México 1963), Main figure of surrealism and Latin American art. A versatile and highly sensitive artist. 

William Kentridge in the CCCB

William Kentridge, is one of the referents of contemporary art. His work, mixture of disciplines and techniques, refers to the history of South Africa and apartheid, and especially deals with social inequalities, injustices and human relationships.

In the exhibition “What is not drawn” by the CCCB, you can find the most representative works of the artist. Drawings and large-format tapestries, the complete series of 11 animated short films “Drawings for Projection” and an impressive audiovisual installation over 40m long.
